I was born in 1982, a native of Kiel, I am married and father of three wonderful kids. I am an absolute technology enthusiast in a variety of areas. I love woodworking and taking care of my colorful garden.
For many years I have been designing individual cloud solutions as an architect. In more than 10 years I have managed countless IT projects where my very analytical and goal-oriented way of working has always helped me. The idea for this was born at the retailer Amazon in the early 2000s. Initially, server instances were developed under the name EC2 to be able to meet the growing needs of the online retailer itself.

That's why many SAP clients are looking for ways to migrate their SAP workloads to the cloud and take advantage of the benefits of cloud computing.
Auf der Microsoft Ignite 2019 in Florida wurde neben vielen anderen Neuigkeiten auch der Dienst Azure Arc (Beta) angekündigt. Mit Azure Arc ist es nun möglich alle Container und Kubernetes Cluster sowie alle Windows- und Linux Server unter einer Oberfläche in Azure zu verwalten. Egal ob diese in Azure gehostet sind, in der eigenen OnPremises Struktur oder bei AWS, Google Cloud oder in einer Private Cloud.

Am 20.09.2023 wurde unser Buch "SAP auf Hyperscaler-Clouds" endlich auf dem DSAG-Jahreskongress erstmals veröffentlicht. Und die Zeit verging wie im Fluge. Einmal im Jahr findet der DSAG-Jahreskongress statt. Dort treffen sich die DSAG-Arbeitsgruppen und lassen das Jahr Revue passieren. Darüber hinaus stellt SAP die Strategien der nächsten Monate vor und informiert zu aktuellen Themen.

SAP und Microsoft bauen ihre Cloud Partnerschaft aus und werden Microsoft Teams in die intelligente Lösungssuite von SAP integrieren. Damit wollen Microsoft und SAP die Einführung von SAP S/4HANA in Microsoft Azure beschleunigen.

In the vast realm of Windows operating systems, users often come across intriguing claims about a mysterious "God Mode". It is referred to as unlocking hidden settings and features and superpowers within the system. However, it's time to set the record straight. Again! As I discussed in a previous blog post in 2010, this so-called "God Mode" is not a clandestine feature. It is rather a clever way to organize and consolidate various settings into one accessible location.
The Microsoft Outlook for iOS app, first released in 2015, has developed significantly since its inception. With features such as Focus Inbox, integration of various cloud services and attachment capabilities without having to download, it serves as a comprehensive email management tool. The app also allows editing of Office document attachments directly and is compatible with various providers like Exchange, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and iCloud. However, it lacks support for POP or IMAP accounts.

The Dutch company Uncover offers a service that lets the heart of every individualist skip a beat. A laser is used to cut a desired design into the back of a MacBook display. Many companies are just starting of their adoption journey into the public Cloud and experiencing what cloud economics might is. But most of them struggles or even fail to manage the corresponding cloud cost. Most of them even did not setup a framework for cloud cost management or government. The result is often the same. Uncontrolled growth of the monthly bill with no clue, where all the cost come from.
Bei der Planung einer neuen IT Architektur in einer public Cloud wir Microsoft Azure muss man immer zwischen Nutzen und Kosten abwägen. Das kann eine Herausforderung sein , da die tatsächlich anfallenden Kosten nicht so leicht vorauszusagen sind. So kann die folgende Rechnung evtl. höher ausfallen als erwartet. Viele Systeme sind komplex und haben daher auch eine komplexe Kostenstruktur.

Für Administratoren und auch für viele Anwender, kommt es immer wieder vor, dass Daten Massenweise importiert oder exportiert werden müssen. Das Mittel der Wahl ist oft eine Komma getrennte CSV Datei.
BUSINESS APPLICATIONS
Microsoft Flow wurde jüngst in Microsoft Power Automate umbenannt. Damit fügt es sich namentlich besser in die bestehende Power Plattform ein. Zur Power Plattform gehört auch Power Apps und Power BI. Weiterhin Bildet die Power Plattform das Gerüst auf welchem die Dynamics 365 Produktfamilie steht. Die Power Plattform erweitert die Produkte Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Business Central und Dynamics 365 Financials & Operations um mobile Apps, Automation von Abläufen und Daten Auswertung.
Für verschiedene Projekte bin ich immer wieder auf der suche nach einer guten Lösung für die automatische und fortlaufende Nummerierung von Datensätzen. Ich habe hiervon in der Vergangenheit immer wieder verschiedene Tools getestet und auch selbst eines gebaut, jedoch hat sich herausgestellt das alle von Ihnen immer wieder die gleichen Probleme haben. Race Conditions! Wenn viele Datensätze gleichzeitig angelegt werden, dann verschluckt sich der zähler und Nummern werden mehrfach vergeben oder einzelne Nummern übersprungen. Dummerweise lassen sich die Systemeigenen default Autonumbering Felder nicht so anpassen, wie man es in den meisten fällen benötigt, bzw. es der Kunde anfordert. Nun gibt es endlich eine Lösung, die auf die meisten Anforderungen passt.
